OOTD : sorry i'm just a girl

It was the first weekend of 2014 when we attended a company event and watched Notre Dame in MBS theater #backtoback. My sched was already jam-packed but I am more than happy to be a busy bee rather than being a sleepy bee. I enjoyed all the adventures I had last year and I'm so excited to be starting this year with open arms and heart.

Last year I was able to write more posts in this blog compared to 2012 when I started blogging. I am hoping that this 2014 I will be able to devote my free time in blogging. I do not have a lot of readers and my posts are not that inspiring but I will still continue to blog because it was through blogging that I was able to rediscover and continue to enhance my style. There are many bloggers around the world who have better content and style but no one can stop me from expressing my thoughts about fashion by interpreting it on my outfits #sorryimjustagirl.

OOTD : all that glitters

A better way to brighten up your day if the sun is hiding is to wear yellow or something shiny. On my outfit last weekend I just did both; wore mustard cropped pants and complimented it with bright and shiny silver accessories. Lastly, you should always wear your smile so everyone can appreciate your glow from within. Be happy, be jolly and always smile by making the world free from darkness.

OOTD : feline class

I guess I was from a cat family on my previous life because I love leopard print so much. During my younger days whenever I see leopard prints on any piece of clothing my heart always skips a beat however the love faded after seeing too much. I think another reason why I stop wearing this print is because I've seen so much wrong pairings that it kinda look cheap. Now that I am maturing on my style I've started to fall in love again #firstloveishardtoforget. Remember the key to looking classy while wearing any leopard print piece is to pair it with black or any neutral color #stayclassynevertrashy.

I guess you can't blame me if I am overusing this because even by pairing it with a simple plain top you can still look chic plus its so so comfy that you can wear it all day long. You will see several #ootd both from my previous and future posts where I wore my fave pants. How about you gals is there any fave item in your closet that you've been obsessing lately?

There is something special about December that all are always happy and positive I guess its the bonuses, leaves, parties, reunion, gift giving, simbang gabi, bibingka and so on but its obviously because we are anticipating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. On my outfit during simbang gabi I chose shades of red and green which are the Christmas colors.

OOTD : blooming inside

All girls love flowers and last year was a proof to that, 2013 was the reincarnation of flower crowns. Most of the bloggers and chic gals went gaga over them because it adds that feminine touch and life to any outfit. I wore this  super girly girl outfit on one of our weekend dates last year. I went for a nude colored top and floral skorts to achieved that perfect feminine look.  The flower crown I wore is love since it has spikes making it cooler than the normal ones. I believe flower crowns are timeless headpieces and every girl should have one.

OOTD : snap it

Going to places like Pulau Ubin makes you closer to nature and makes life less stressful. Once in a while taking a short break is just what you need to recharge your low bat energy. On the last Saturday of year 2013, I together with my boyfriend escaped for a short and sweet break to Pulau Ubin.  We went biking for hours and just enjoyed the wind blowing on our face but our visit to this lovely place will not be complete without an outfit shot. Here are the photos I had on my Pulau Ubin visit. The outfit is a mixture of sporty and feminine elements, the snapback cap gave the outfit a stylish kick. No matter where you are make sure to look good in order to feel good.

OOTD : joy to the world

It is the happiest day of the year since its Jesus birthday. On Christmas eve I wore a simple black and white instead of going red because I don't want to steal the spotlight from the star of the night. In order to add more life to my simple outfit I added the fun polka dots red socks. The pop of color from the socks made the whole look really lively and fresh, the same applies in life a good deed no matter how small it is can make the world a better place. Let us bring joy to the world by loving one another just like what Jesus did for us.

OOTD : the weekender

Happy New Year!!! I am welcoming 2014 with open arms but still I am thankful for all the experiences, adventures and things I had last year. Be it today or yesterday it is all gift from God so let us seize and treasure every moment we had, we have and we will have. I had a blast on the last Sunday of 2013 by spending time with my boyfriend and siblings. I spent the first half day with my boyfriend in Changi Cove for our staycation and went shopping later that afternoon in Orchard and Suntec with my siblings.

On the last Sunday of 2013 I wore my fave tank top which has print "Do what you want" and styled it in two different ways. On the first look I paired it with denim shorts, floral jacket and my old converse to achieve that relax vibe while on my second look I went for more serious look. In order to attain my goal to dress up my basic tank top I threw in the oversized gray blazer I got from H&M. Oversized blazer can make any outfit stand out because it gives an additional class factor. Which style do you prefer so far?
